Cave Creek Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Cave Creek Golf Course first opened for play in 1984. The course was designed by Jack Snyder.
This municipal course, the most popular municipal course in Phoenix, was once a landfill, is located inside the Phoenix city limits. The course gets plenty of wear, but it always remains well maintained.
A winding creek leading to wide rolling fairways, allows for varying shot selections. This 18-hole championship course offers golfers of all skill levels challenge and enjoyment.
Cave Creek Golf Course plays to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 6,732 yards for a course rating of 71.6 and slope rating of 119. The forward tees measure 5,623 yards for a course rating of 70.0 and slope rating of 118.

blue tees work best for the more accomplished golfer just wish the occasional hacker would realize that fact - nice variety of holes- water features on a few holes help separate the hackers and duffers- good practice facilities- and a pleasant helpful staff- you need a caddie- you need to play something other than a muni !

Older, Phoenix municipal course but with intersting layout with some rolling land, water, dog legs, trees. A few holes on old dump site have patchy fairways however greens are good, hold better than normal for area and putt well.
